Fox Cycling Online Instructor: Lisa C
LisaC: I'm originally from Glasgow, (which means both Lisas have accents!) I've lived in Bristol 16 years, and I've especially loved the last 7 in Portishead where my husband Iain and I and our amazing kids Robert & Maria have settled. I worked in retail and hospitality for 20 years and recently left the mad world of UK corporate HR to spend quality time with my family.
Fox: How would you describe your sessions?
LisaC: Motivating, fun, friendly, riding to the beat with lots of competition and funny faces along the way.
Fox: What do you aim for people to achieve in your sessions?
LisaC: I want them to leave on a real high setting themselves up for the day or weekend. Or working off a great one! I want them to see their goals coming closer whether that's weight loss, fitness, confidence or whatever else; I want my classes to bring them one step closer.
Fox: So if you could get anyone into your sessions, who would you choose?
LisaC: Any politician - just to be able to make them sweat!
Fox: Nice! We'll see what we can sort out. Perhaps we need to do a 'I'm a celebrity, help me get the Fox out of here' special. Maybe later! So Lisa, what else do you enjoy doing?
LisaC: I love having fun with my kids splashing in puddles, riding bikes, craft time and family cuddles. I'm from an Italian family and I'm extremely passionate about all things Italian. I love having coffee or vino with great friends and making new ones.
Fox: And what do turns you off?
LisaC: Falseness (hmm wasn't expecting that to be word).
Fox: And can you tell us something that people don't know about you?
LisaC: I have a degree in Microbiology and used to Curl for Glasgow Schools (yes that thing on ice with brushes and lumps of granite).
Fox: And right there, there are two very unusual things! Thanks for your time, Lisa.
